The Venue
The venue for our masquerade ball is the beautiful Hall of Springs banquet hall in Saratoga Spa State Park, just 40 minutes north of Albany, New York. You’ll feel like true Moon Royalty as you float through the main dance hall with its marble floors, massive columns, and twinkling crystal chandeliers glowing overhead on the vaulted ceiling. At 8000 square feet, we have plenty of room to seat several hundred guests with space left over for a big dance floor! Off of the main room are two smaller chambers. One will be used as a posed photography studio so you and your friends can immortalize the evening. The other will be available to our VIP ticket holders as a private lounge: The Venus Love and Beauty Suite!
The Banquet
Between waltzes, enjoy a gourmet buffet dinner provided by Mazzone Hospitality, known throughout the Capital Region as the very best! Indulge in appetizers, salad, several different entree options, alongside delicious Sailor Moon themed desserts. If you have dietary restrictions, we’ll work with the caterers to make sure that you have an entree available that meets your needs. Water, coffee, and tea will be available. Be sure to visit the cash bar for alcoholic and non-alcoholic themed drinks inspired by different Sailor Moon characters!
The Masquerade
A room full of swirling gowns and masked faces, waltzing to a live orchestra playing your favorite melodies– so romantic! To keep the evening as majestic and elegant as the Moon Kingdom, we ask that our guests wear black tie attire: ballgowns and cocktail dresses, white shirts and black neckties with dark dinner jackets, and military uniforms are all acceptable choices for this event. Of course, cosplay is absolutely encouraged, especially if it meets these standards! Go as your favorite senshi, princess style! Try your hand at a dapper Tiger’s Eye, complete with top hat! The more creative you get, the more breath-taking this event will be, so bring your best style! As this is a masquerade ball, masks are required, so make sure that this essential item is a part of your party ensemble. If you forget to bring one the night of the event, we’ll have masks for sale so you don’t have to go without!
The Venus Love and Beauty Suite
VIP ONLY! For our VIP ticket holders, we’ll have a designated room off of the main ballroom just for you to get away from the crowd. Inside, you will find every amenity you will need to recharge yourself. There will be a hair and makeup stylist available for when you need to freshen up your curls, or to help you re-pin your wig while you touch up your lip color. There will be a special photoshoot set up only for VIP attendees to have their picture taken by a professional photographer. There will be a sewing table stocked up with pins, tools, and stain removal pens in case disaster strikes and you have an outfit emergency. The Venus Love and Beauty Suite is a calm space away from the energy, where you can sit, relax, and recuperate for a moment. Oh, and did we mention an open bar?
